You complete me.

The Olympics are on, but Fred’s watching “This Old House” where they’re installing a new furnace. There’s endless talk of pounds of pressure, circulating pumps, and lodged air bubbles. How riveting.

There’s funness on the horizon. We (uncharacteristically) have tickets to:
1) The Commitments, March 11th, Concerts in the Court. Very cool venue. As the name implies, it’s in the sculpture court of our impressive-for-a-small-dumpy-city art museum. Hmmm…I wonder where the sculpture goes? They must shove it aside. (Which reminds me of the time that the museum guards nearly wrestled my mother to the ground because she started to stick her finger up the nose of a huge bronze head. She claims that she was just curious. The guards, as it turns out, aren’t big on curiosity.)

2) Sheryl Crow, March 21st, Turning Stone Casino. Not a cool venue, but a cool performer. Hope she’s not feeling post-Lance mopey.

AND, my new car should be here in a week or so (give or take a week). Last we heard, it was “in the port.” (But WHICH port? We were sort of scared to ask.) I’m trading in the silver Jetta wagon (which I really DO like) for a Tornado Red GTI (which I hope I’ll like). Fred says I will, but then, he’s watching a furnace installation. I’m currently in the phase where I feel bad for my old car. Which is just weird.

What a pair we are.
