The List- Part II (because there’s more to be said)

Four jobs I’ve had:
1) Selling Christmas cards to neighbors in the throes of a summer heat wave (I was about 12, I think, and earned a cheesy watch for my efforts.)
2) Selling our garden’s surplus tomatoes, piled in a baby’s bathtub, at the end of the driveway
3) Pricing toys in a sweltering warehouse in a bad neighborhood (I made a little extra money selling soda to my co-workers since management wouldn’t allow us to walk back to the store for break.)
4) Does selling Girl scout cookies count? Maybe not, because I was pretty lousy at it

Four movies I can watch over and over:
1) Days of Heaven
2) The Unbearable Lightness of Being
3) Fried Green Tomatoes
4) Thelma and Louise

Four places I’ve lived:
1) Syracuse, NY (born there)
2) Suburb of Cinncinnati (I remember walking to kindergarten by myself. How times have changed.)
3) Suburb of Pittsburgh (I remember the brick streets and having to go to bed VERY early.)
4) New Hartford, NY (from third grade on)

Four TV shows I love:
1) Weeds
2) Curb Your Enthusiasm
3) The Barefoot Contessa
4) Extreme Homes

Four places I’ve vacationed:
1) Las Vegas, NV
2) Intercourse, PA
3) Toronto
4) Maine

Four of my favorite dishes:
1) Anything with caramel
2) Rack of lamb (not that I ever make it)
3) Lasagna
4) French toast

Four places I would rather be:
1) In Ina Garten’s kitchen
2) In a hot tub
3) On a road trip
4) In bed…where I’ll be in a minute
