shadow19's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Odds-n-ends (with more odds than ends). Discovery of the week: Jones Soda, Strawberry-Lime. (Complete with caffeine! Yippee!) This stuff kicks Pepsi's cola ass. And I'm a hard-core Pepsi fan. Call me "traitor." Go ahead. Relief of the week: The MCAT exam is OVER! (not that I TOOK it...I only had to proctor it...but still). Last Saturday was long and stressful, but we got through it without a hitch, and now I should be able to completely relax. But the thing is, I was clenched with anxiety for so long, that it's taking me a little extra time to de-clench. Next time, though, it'll be a snap. Sweet. Annoyance of the week: A line of canker sores along my lower gum, AND a stomach that's acting squirrelly. Pretty sure the two are related. May they both clear up ASAP. That'd be cool. Purchase of the week: Brand spankin' new front loader washer and dryer from Sears. See, we decided to walk at the mall the other night because it was raining and I needed a pack of nice scooshy socks from Target. But before the walk was out, we'd purchased the pair of gleaming appliances. They'll be here tomorrow between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm. Then laundry ecstasy will commence. (Perhaps I have my hopes too high. Ya think?) Looks like a weekend of solid rain, after a stellar week. Maybe I'll make cards, write letters, and bake some brownies. Inside or out...there's plenty to do. I will, though, miss the sun. It sure does help. And maybe I'll make my first entry in my brand-new Moleskine journal (with grid paper, of course).
