shadow19's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Weekend sweet weekend. We've circled around to Friday night again. Yeehaw. Just received some very cool shadow stamps and shadow ink that I ordered from Hero Arts. They threw in a couple of freebies as well, which is always a nice surprise. My card-making motor slowed down during the week, but it typically ramps up over the weekend. There's just more time to hunker down and make a big ol' mess. Was sort of sweating this week's chemical inventory software installation and training. It was all to be accomplished in one day, and my stomach was all knotted up in anticipation...feeling sure that we'd hit a fatal snag (as we have before). But things went well, and though there were times when I felt like vital information would pour out of my head if I tipped it to one side, I seem to have retained the bulk of what was jammed into me yesterday. Today I was able to navigate fairly well and print a few bar code labels. Only about 9975 to go. Progress. Slow progress, but progress nonetheless. I'm reading The Namesake for our next book group meeting, and this one beats the heck out of Fahrenheit 451 (our last read). THAT one left me cold. Tomorrow I'll make my final peach crisp of the season. Sniff. 9:01 p.m. - 2004-09-10 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
