shadow19's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sweet Saturday I'm just a little card-making hurricane. Finished 40 this week...20 just last night. The catch is that all of these are to be donated to our church bazaar. I'm hoping that they don't all sell, and I'll have a slew of extras for myself...so that I can actually send them! The other thing is, I'm using pretty simple designs as I must "mass-produce." But still, it's fun, and I love piling up product. What a great motivator. I KNOW that's why I have no luck with needlecrafts. No progress. No incentive to keep going. I think I mentioned before that I have a supremely stalled (a.k.a. DOA) embroidery project from Girl Scouts circa 1969. It depicts the first manned lunar landing. Lousy subject matter. Intricate hard stitches. And let's face it...I was ten when I started. There was just never any chance of success. Come to think of it, I think I faced facts a few years ago and tossed it. Anyway, must shower so that we can head to Cooperstown for the free and outdoors craft show. Typically, we buy mustard and hot fudge. Maybe this year we can branch out. It's looks positively golden outside. Let's play. 8:46 a.m. - 2004-09-04 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
